Who We Are and What We Do

We are GIA Graduate Gemologists and National Association of Jewelry Appraisal members. We have the most up to date gemological equipment, which allows us to identify and grade gemstones from aquamarines to sapphires to natural or lab grown diamonds. 

Shane attended Roger Williams University for his bachelor studies. He graduated with a double major in Marketing and International Business with a minor in Political Science. He worked with his families Jewelry business, Dover Jewelry, all through college while his passion for the gemological world grew. He studied at GIA obtaining his Diamond Graduate certification, then his Colored Stone Graduate certification and finally his Graduate Gemologist certification. He passed each of his certification on his first attempt and finished at the top of GIA class. 

Upon graduating from GIA, he worked closely at his family's jewelry company learning about market values and jewelry history. He gained experience working with customers as a jewelry consultant, helping private customers appraise, evaluate, and select their desired pieces. 

He then left to pursue his own business educating his clients about their personal collections and helping to consult them on their future jewelry acquisitions.
